The Italian mafia prosecutors do a year long surveillence
of some high profile drug dealers
and they discover an international arab arms deal which has shadow ties to
the U.S. led coalition government of Iraq.
Interesting...it may just be one of the reasons why there is a such a strong insurgency in the very center of the country...
It also puts a whole new spin on the term "surge"...
The Arab company implicated with the Italians ring leaders arrested earlier state
that they had operated with the full approval of the "american command forces"...
A comment which the head U.S brass in Iraq are denying...
Yet, the interior ministry of the new Iraq government did NOT deny this transaction
did occur according to the AP report of the same...
Is this our 21st Century Iran- Contra -Bush -Rove -Cheney Pentagon scandal?
The lead prosecutor for the Italians thought it was "odd" that the U.S. led coalition forces
would be seeking a 'back channel' to find a market and supplier for over 100,000 russian made ak 47's...inside of the country which is torn by civil war.
However, its not odd...when you have Bush and Karl Rove kissing "goodbye" in the white house's south lawn....in tears......just in time to take this top story and knock it out of the day's major media rotation...
as "the Architect" knows, in terms of containing political fall out of a scandal...
timing is everything...
